Acceptance

By accessing or using DataSimHQ, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Subscription terms

DataSimHQ offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method at the start of each billing cycle. Prices may change with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. After your subscription expires, your account will revert to the free plan.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• •Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related systems.
• •Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.
• •Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content (challenges, datasets, or AI-generated feedback) without permission.
• •Abuse the AI mentor or any automated feature through excessive or automated requests.

Intellectual property

All content on DataSimHQ, including challenges, datasets, UI design, and documentation, is owned by DataSimHQ or its licensors. Your submitted queries and portfolio content remain yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your submissions for grading and to display your public portfolio as you have configured it.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in behaviour that is harmful to other users or the platform. Where possible, we will provide notice before termination. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support.

Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
