Time to build the foundation. Load both workbooks into Power BI Desktop and produce a clean star schema. The raw files fight you in three places, and how you handle them is exactly what I am reviewing:

1. Sales history is split across two sheets, Sales2022 and Sales2023-2025, with identical structure. Your model must expose ONE sales fact table. Append them in Power Query. Do not load them as two separate facts.

2. The Targets sheet stores years as columns (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). Unpivot it into a long table with one row per product, rep, and month, then build a proper date column from the Month name and the unpivoted year so targets can share the calendar with sales.
